BISNISREAL.COM, JAKARTA – LAZNAS BMH held its Public Expose 2025 event, themed “Sharing Happiness,” at the Hidayatullah DPP Da’wah Building in East Jakarta on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The event served as a platform for the organization to transparently report the positive impact of zakat, infaq, and alms distribution throughout 2024. It also aimed to encourage the Indonesian community to welcome the holy month of Ramadan by increasing their spirit of sharing and caring for others.
Imam Nawawi, Head of Public Relations at BMH Central, delivered a speech and presented various flagship programs that LAZNAS BMH has successfully implemented in various fields, such as education, da’wah, economy, and social humanity. These programs have provided significant benefits to the community, especially those in need and those who are targeted.
One of the highlighted programs is the Tough Dai program, which aims to support and empower preachers who preach in remote areas. In addition, LAZNAS BMH also has a program for fostering converts from isolated tribes, such as the Baduy Converts, the Anak Dalam Tribe Converts, and others. This program not only provides religious guidance but also helps them meet their daily needs, said Imam Nawawi.
Dr. Nashirul Haq Marting, MA, in his speech, also invited, “We believe that true happiness can be found when we share with others,” said the General Chairperson of DPP Hidayatullah. “Therefore, we invite all people to participate in the good programs that we organize, especially in this blessed month of Ramadan.”
This Public Expose 2025 also became a momentum for LAZNAS BMH to demonstrate its commitment to managing zakat, infaq, and alms funds professionally and accountably. The institution hopes to continue to be a bridge between people who want to share with those in need, said Nashirul Haq.
In addition, LAZNAS BMH also invites the public to take advantage of the momentum of Ramadan to increase social care and solidarity. Through various programs that have been prepared, LAZNAS BMH hopes to make a greater contribution in building a better society.
Prof. DR. KH Nasaruddin Umar, MA also said in his live streaming recording, “Let us make this month of Ramadan a momentum to strengthen ties, increase concern, and share happiness with others,” concluded the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia.
Carrying the theme “Sharing Happiness”, this activity confirms that true happiness comes when a person cares, gives, and empathizes with others. Sharing is not just a social obligation, but also a knot of kindness that maintains the balance of human life, strengthens brotherhood, and becomes a real solution in overcoming social inequality.
Imam Nawawi, as Head of Public Relations of the Central BMH, emphasized that as a national zakat institution that has been active for 23 years, LAZNAS BMH continues to move with networks throughout Indonesia. Various excellent programs in the fields of education, da’wah, economy, and social humanity have provided broad benefits to the community.
BMH is a Laz that has distinctive programs in the world of da’wah. Such as the Tough Dai program, which encourages and strengthens the work of preachers in remote areas to continue to ignite. Then there is the fostering of converts from isolated tribes, such as the Baduy Converts in Lebak, Banten, the Anak Dalam Tribe Converts, the Tengger Converts, the Kaloran Converts, the Wana Tribe Converts, and the Togutil Tribe Converts in Halmahera, North Maluku.
In collaboration, BMH together with BAZNAS RI succeeded in building 7 units of Decent Houses for the Baduy Converts in Lebak, Banten. The program of distributing mukenas welcomes Ramadan in Halmahera. Sharing mukenas and hijabs with the Selat Kongki Converts in Lingga, Riau Islands.
This Public Expose is evidence of LAZNAS BMH’s transparency and commitment in managing zakat, infaq, and alms funds professionally, as well as inviting the public to continue to contribute to building the country through various good programs.
