The official launch event, held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Kawasaki Abdul Muis Showroom in Central Jakarta, featured a unique “buka bersama” (breaking fast) concept during the Ramadan month. Known for their robust performance and futuristic design, these two models come with a series of enhancements that further solidify Kawasaki’s position as a leader in the Big Bike sports motorcycle category.
The Z900 and Z900 SE boast an increasingly aggressive yet elegant design. The Sugomi concept, integral to the Z series, is now more pronounced with a slimmer body and sharp design lines. The aluminum shroud with the “Z” logo and fewer plastic components add a luxurious and sporty touch. The sleek fuel tank and shorter tail cowl with modern LED taillights emphasize the motorcycle’s light and agile feel.
The Kawasaki Z900 is equipped with a 948cc In-Line Four engine, delivering powerful performance with quick throttle response at every RPM. With an inverted front fork suspension system and horizontal back-link rear suspension, the Z900 offers light and stable handling in various road conditions. The addition of the Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) system, which allows for clutchless gear changes, enhances the riding experience, making it more exciting and responsive.
The Z900 SE, on the other hand, features several special upgrades that set it apart. In addition to the same engine as the Z900, the Z900 SE comes with an advanced Öhlins rear suspension and Brembo brakes for maximum braking performance. Its exclusive design, with special color accents and graphics, adds a touch of luxury. The Z900 SE also features a more precise adjustable front suspension system for optimal riding comfort.
Both the Z900 and Z900 SE are equipped with advanced technological features that enhance their superiority. A new LED taillight with Light Guiding technology adds a modern and luxurious feel, providing brighter and sharper illumination. The instrument panel features a larger and more sophisticated TFT Display, offering clear and easy-to-read information.
The latest version of the RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE, available on both models, includes a voice command feature that allows riders to control the application hands-free, access information, and make adjustments easily. This app enables riders to connect their motorcycles to their smartphones, monitor essential activities, and enjoy turn-by-turn navigation directly on the screen.
For long-distance riding comfort, the Z900 and Z900 SE are equipped with Electronic Cruise Control, allowing riders to set their speed without constantly holding the throttle, providing added comfort on long journeys.
