The company’s revenue increased by 8.2% to Rp 3.09 trillion, up from Rp 2.85 trillion in 2023, reflecting the continued robust growth in the tourism industry.
In parallel with the revenue increase, the company’s gross profit surged by 18.3%, from Rp 309.7 billion to Rp 366.3 billion in 2024. Operating profit also saw a substantial rise of 17.4%, from Rp 144.2 billion to Rp 169.3 billion. This improvement was attributed to a 1% increase in gross profit margin, reaching 11.8% in 2024 compared to 10.8% in 2023, and more controlled operational cost management.
Notably, the company’s net profit for the year skyrocketed by 431%, from Rp 63.1 billion to Rp 335.3 billion. This significant boost was partly due to contributions from a subsidiary’s divestment in the B2B hotel room business.
The company’s performance in 2024 was primarily driven by the Leisure Outbound and Inbound segments, which contributed significantly to revenue growth. These segments offer overseas tour packages (outbound) and attract international tourists to prime destinations like Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia (inbound).
Despite facing external challenges such as global geopolitical instability and climate change, Panorama Sentrawisata Tbk remains optimistic about its future growth.
