This year, the company empowered the public to take the lead by recommending orphanages across Indonesia that deserve support. Through a transparent curation process, ten institutions were selected to receive essential aid and educational opportunities.
The program’s highlight was an immersive day at The Habitat Park, where 100 children from selected orphanages engaged in environmental conservation workshops. From wildlife tours to creative waste management activities, Sharp aimed to inspire these young minds to become future stewards of the planet. This initiative reflects Sharp’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) values, integrating social welfare with ecological awareness.
The support also manifested in practical solutions. Each selected orphanage received Sharp’s Puremagic ES-T79SJ washing machines. Specifically designed with a Hijab Mode and Silvermagic Protection (Ag+ ion), these machines ensure that delicate prayer garments and daily clothes remain hygienic and durable—significantly reducing the operational burden on orphanage caregivers.
